The money donated to Fulani Kitchen Foundation works hard to support our work and makes a real difference in the lives of smallholder female farmers across Sub-Saharan Africa. Fonio is a solution to food security in Africa and the rest of the world. Fulani Kitchen Foundation's work and objective is to improve food security for rural communities, increase productivity through efficient post-harvest processing, and raise the income levels of women farmers to enable them to support their families by providing employment opportunities.
The Basque World Prize that was honored to our Founder, Chef Fatmata Binta has enabled us to provide machinery to help the women farmers harvest their fonio crops less tediously.
